Paid plans go straight to Stripe checkout after you claim your subdomain. Cards and ACH both work, and we never see the card number. A market is reviewed by a person before it goes live, so nothing runs on autopilot.
Questions coordinators ask
What does a postcard cost us?
Nothing, up to your plan's included count: Market Pro covers 100 postcards a year and City Premium covers 500, printed and mailed for you at our expense. Past the included count, extra postcards are billed as metered overage at printing and first-class postage, itemized on your invoice. You never open a print account or buy stamps. Starter does not include postcards; markets on it verify by document upload or run on the honor system.
What happens when we hit a plan limit?
Limits apply when you set a market up, not in the middle of one. If you try to open a second market on Starter, or set 120 booths on Market Pro, the setting is refused with a message naming the plan that covers it. A market that is already running is never interrupted: registrations, verification, email, and check-in keep working through the season no matter what happens to the subscription.
Can we start free and upgrade later?
Yes, and it is the normal path. Run your first market on Starter up to 30 booths on the honor system, then upgrade when you need mailed residency checks or a second market in the same year. Your subdomain, your account, your rules, and every application you have already taken stay exactly where they are.
Our city needs an invoice and a purchase order.
That works. Checkout runs on Stripe, which takes cards and ACH and can issue an invoice your finance office can pay against a PO. If you need the invoice before you sign up, submit the signup form and reply to the confirmation email: your market and subdomain are held while the paperwork moves.
Still deciding? Start on Starter.
Run one market, up to 30 booths, and see whether the queue and the dashboard save you the morning you think they will. Upgrade when the market outgrows it.
